My Journey

Well, I guess a lot of you are wondering what was going on with the "Situation" post from a week and a half ago.

Here was the story: On Tuesday, January 18, I was informed that a gentleman that visits the library quite a bit was diagnosed with active tuberculosis. As a result, every staff member at the library had to be tested.

Of course, I was frightened. At that point in time, there were so many unknowns. Would I have to quit Sonic? Would my test come out positive? I was very scared.

January 25, 2005: Today is my TB test. I get the test today, and I get the results on Friday. I'm still kind of nervous about it, but I have faith that God will see this through and I won't have to quit either of my jobs.

(later)I just got back from taking the test. It didn't hurt anywhere near as bad as I thought it would. It did bleed a little bit, though. Right now I can't really tell anything, but I did detect a small bruise where the needle went in. It shouldn't be any big deal, though. At least, I hope not. :-)

January 28: I just got my test results back, and they were negative! Yay!
